Red Cross House

design competition

submitted 2016

Red Cross Singapore organised a competition to find a winning design for their new home. The juxtaposition of the existing Red Cross house, a conserved building, with a new tall modern extension, reflects the rich history of humanitarian services while plotting it’s course for the future. Taking the cue from Red Cross’ missions and goals, the exterior is conceptualised with a neutral outlook accompanied with red accents while a mobilisation space is introduced within the building serving a multi-purpose space for the host of exciting events organized by Red Cross Singapore.
