Sim Kwong Ho Shophouse

A intricate and ornate façade of these prominent corner row of three shophouses along Balestier Road deserves every ounce of efforts that go into restoring the delightful details into live. While delightful to behold, the restoration and maintenance of such finely crafted façade is not for the faint-hearted, or shallow-pocket. Fortunately, the original conservation and restoration works took place several years ago when cost and craftsmanship required was still more readily available. This project undertook basic upkeep of conservation elements due to natural wear and tear, as well as internal reorganization of spaces to facilitate business renewal and regulatory compliances.
